Paul Cremin, MBE, is Head of Spaceflight for the Department for Transport and responsible for leading the development of the UK’s commercial spaceflight legislation and regulations and the integration of UK launches into the international airspace and marine networks. He is responsible for providing the assurance to the Secretary of State that spaceflight activities taking place in the UK are safe. Previously Paul was responsible for developing the UK Governments strategy for civil Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems and Head of UK Aviation Safety. Paul was awarded MBE in 2016 from Her Majesty for his services to aviation safety.
