Karin serves on the board of Unibap AB, a leader in AI and space computing, and Arctic Space AB, specialising in satellite communications. She also advises Airbus Group’s senior leadership as part of the STAR Program. As CEO of Spaceport Sweden, she spearheaded the development of a national strategy and regulatory framework for commercial human spaceflight and a space adventure business portfolio. Passionate about space for societal impact, she founded Hack Space for the Planet, TEDxKiruna, and Women in Space Sweden.
Emma joined National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in 2016, and after successfully leading teams within the Environment and Quantum Departments, she was appointed Head of the Time and Frequency Department where she played a critical role in conceiving and delivering the flagship National Timing Centre programme. Appointed as Partnerships Director in 2022, Emma is now responsible for maximising the impact and the financial sustainability of NPL.

Dr Thomas Clayson is CTO and co-Founder of Magdrive Ltd, a VC-backed company that is developing the next generation of electrical propulsion systems for in-space flight. Magdrive is headquartered in Oxfordshire with over 25 full time staff and their first in orbit mission is scheduled for July 2025. Dr Clayson is an experimental plasma physicist with expertise in spacecraft propulsion, pulsed power, laboratory astrophysics and nuclear fusion and relevant technical understanding of space hardware, software and the orbital environment.
Patrick Cahill is responsible for growing the operational and commercial benefits of the Networks, Telecoms and Space Solutions available to all UK Public Sector organisations through Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Frameworks and Purchasing Systems. Before joining CCS, Patrick was Deputy Director in the Cabinet Office’s Strategic Partnering Programme with responsibility for developing Suppliers to the UK Space Sector and the Strategic Partner Management of five of the top twenty ICT Strategic Suppliers to the UK Central Government.
