Elaine Tan has over 25 years of experience in the space sector, having spent over a decade working for Space Agencies on commercial activities and international partnerships before joining industry to lead newspace companies on business development and strategy within the quickly evolving policy & regulatory landscape. She holds a Trium Global Executive MBA (HEC Paris, LSE, NYU), a Juris Doctor (Osgoode Hall Law School) & (Adv)LLMs (Leiden University, Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas), in addition to a BSc in Envt Sciences & Geophysics. Before joining the Mission Space team, Elaine advised the EC and UN Office for Outer Space Affairs on earth observation and intergovernmental activities related to sustainable development and disaster risk reduction, which emphasised the need for safe and long-term sustainable use of space to ensure the security and resilience of critical infrastructure sustaining life on earth.
Recognised in The Lawyer Hot 100 2025 List as a ‘trailblazer’ in public and administrative law, Andrew advises businesses and public bodies on the interaction between business, law and policy, with a particular focus on the impact of public law, public sector governance and accountability, and judicial review in a commercial context. Matthew Harris is the Space Focus Area Lead for QinetiQ US, where he serves as a strategic advisor in the space domain, leveraging his expertise in mission operations, consulting, transformation, and data and technology solutions. As a published author and thought leaders, Mr. Harris specializes in integrating systems into both current and future architectures, particularly in the space domain and across multi-domain terrestrial scenarios. With over two decades of experience working with government agencies, Mr. Harris has contributed in areas of strategic planning, programmatic support, and subject matter expertise. His career includes roles at the National Defense University, United States Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, and Department of Homeland Security.
Stuart has 25 years of experience in leading and managing large multi disciplinary teams to deliver complex property and infrastructure projects and is currently responsible for the design and construction of Sutherland Spaceport, UK, was previously Programme Manager for the delivery of Prestwick Spaceport, UK and is currently engaging in spaceport opportunities in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Dr. Stuffler is today responsible for new programs and projects within OHB-System with a report line OHB SE. He acts also as key account DLR and TAS. Starting the career in 1993 with the earlier Kayser-Threde as project and system engineer for all kind of space projects. Over the years, development into positions of project manager, business development manager and then into the position of the director business development. This has been kept also after the merge of Kayser-Threde with OHB in 2014 leading to enlarged LSI related responsibilities.
